About the school
Frensham Heights School is a co-educationalday and boarding school for pupils aged 3 to 18. Founded in 1925, it occupies a 120-acre rural site near Farnham, in Surrey. It is a charitable trust, overseen bya board of governors.
The school offers full, weekly and flexible boarding provision. Boarders are accommodated in 3 boarding houses, all of which are co-educational.

The school aims to provide excellent pastoral care and a continuing commitment to educational innovation. lt endeavours to provide flexible, high-quality teaching and learning,based on theindividual needs and abilities of pupils. The school aspires to educate pupils in the widest sense, byproviding an ambitious curriculum which allows pupils to fulfil their academic potential andencompasses a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
About the pupils
Pupilscome predominantly from professional and business families, whose varied ethnic backgrounds reflect those of the local area. Boarders come from United Kingdom and overseas, typically Europeand the Far East.
Nationally standardised test data indicate the ability profile of pupils in the junior school is broadlyaverage and that of the senior school is above average. The school has identified 153 pupils withspecial educational needs and/or disabilities; none have an education, health and care plan or astatement of specialeducational needs. lt provides 84 of these pupils with support, the majority fordyslexia and other cognitive learning difficulties.There are 20 pupils who have English as an additional language, 18 of whom require additional support for their English.
The school adjusts its curriculum to meetthe needs of more able pupils by targeted activities in lessons and offering additional sports, artistic and academic opportunities to those who show a talent, gift orare particularly able.
